The Tweaksters are a variety arts group consisting of Regan Patno and Julia Snyder. We use dance, dexterity, and flying objects. Object manipulation taken to the level of art. We have been jugglers for eight years, acrobats for four years, and dancers most of our lives. Who would of thought I'd start acrobatics when I was in my thirtys?!! We do a routine called 'Orbitology' that utilizes meteors -- very impressive live. We do a striptease, (well sort of), in black-light that is novel, fun, and sure to get a crowd reaction. We do an acrobatic balancing routine, '77 Sunset Strip,' in which the above pose is performed. We incorporate music and rhythm with juggling in a piece with a xylophone called 'Melody' -- again, original and light-hearted. Another number that uses a black-out is call 'Midnight Concerto' -- a 'Fantasia' like piece using light emitting balls set to whimsical classical music. We 'get down' in a retro groove in Club Disco -- Indian club passing and disco dancing with each other filled with moves right out of 'Saturday Night Fever.' If you like it hot, we've got a fire trancing, torch swing ditty set to Australian aboriginal music call 'the Dreaming.' 'Trailing Clouds of Glory' is our newest piece. It's a bungee piece that is just stunning - I'm on the ground partner dancing with Julia. Our latest is PotHeads - cleverness with flower pots. If you're looking for rip roaring specialty act, or the longer show of a variety act, you've come to the right place.
